Emotional and Behaviour Change Coach

Support for children, teenagers, parents and adults who experience anxiety, low confidence, emotional overwhelm, or behavioural patterns that feel hard to shift.

  • Qualified Teacher

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Wellbeing (Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust)

  • Training in NLP and Coaching (PPTI)

I combine a background in education, child development, and coaching-based approaches to support practical, behaviour-level change. Sessions focus on helping clients recognise their emotional and behavioural patterns that are keeping them stuck and build more consistent, useful ways of responding going forwards, working with thoughts, emotional responses and behavioural habits directly so that change lasts and carries into everyday life.

For children and young people, this can look like:

  • Becoming overwhelmed by schoolwork, expectations, or pressure

  • Anxiety around performance or making mistakes

  • Difficulty starting or completing tasks (homework, revision, routines)

  • Emotional shutdowns, irritability, or avoidance when stressed

  • Different behaviour at home versus school

  • Feeling “stuck” in patterns that repeat over time

For parents, it may feel like:

  • Not knowing how to help without escalating things

  • Repeated conflict around school, emotions, or behaviour

  • Feeling that strategies only work temporarily

For adults, this can show up as:

  • Low confidence in specific areas of life or work

  • Stress that feels constant or hard to regulate

  • Overthinking, self-doubt, or emotional reactivity

Clients can expect to leave with greater confidence, improved emotional regulation and a stronger sense of choice in situations that previously felt overwhelming. They will develop clearer strategies for managing emotional responses, increased awareness of unhelpful patterns and more consistent ways of responding under pressure that will carry into future situations.

About Me

I work with emotional and behavioural difficulties in children, young people, and adults, focusing on anxiety, confidence and stress responses.

Sessions focus on identifying a current difficulty, understanding what happens emotionally and behaviourally in those moments, and developing alternative responses that can be used in real situations between sessions.

I combine experience in education and child development with structured coaching approaches and my work is informed by classroom experience and postgraduate training in child, adolescent, and family mental wellbeing.

I hold a First Class BA (Hons) from Durham University and a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Roehampton. I trained and worked at Fox Primary School in London for five years, supporting children with a wide range of academic, behavioural and emotional needs.

I also hold a postgraduate certificate (Distinction) in Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Wellbeing from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and I am currently completing further practitioner training in NLP, coaching and hypnotherapy, due to finish in September 2026.
