Emotional and Behaviour Change Coach

Helping children and adults reset in moments where they feel stuck, overwhelmed or reactive.

Many children, teenagers and adults experience patterns of anxiety, low confidence, stress or emotional overwhelm that can shape how they think, respond and behave over time. These experiences can show up in school, at home, in relationships, or during periods of change or pressure.

For children and young people, this might look like anxiety around school or performance, avoiding or delaying tasks such as homework or revision, struggling to get started even when they know what to do, becoming overwhelmed by expectations or feedback, or appearing confident in some situations but very different in others.

These are just some examples. Similar difficulties can develop in many different ways depending on a child’s experiences, environment and the responses they have learned over time.

My work focuses on helping clients recognise these patterns clearly and begin to shift how they respond in moments that feel difficult or automatic. This involves working in a structured and practical way with thoughts, emotional responses and behavioural habits, so that change becomes more consistent in everyday life.

Rather than only talking through difficulties, sessions are designed to support new ways of responding under pressure, build internal steadiness, and create longer-term change in confidence, emotional regulation and everyday coping.

About Me

I work with children, families and adults as a specialist in coaching-based support for emotional wellbeing, confidence and learning-related challenges.

My background is in education and child development. I hold a First Class BA (Hons) from Durham University, a PGCE in primary education and Qualified Teacher Status and I worked as a primary school teacher in London for four years, supporting children with a wide range of academic, behavioural and emotional needs.

Alongside my teaching experience, I completed a postgraduate qualification in Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Wellbeing at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and I am also undertaking advanced coaching training with a focus on behavioural change and emotional regulation.

My work brings these strands together in a structured, practical approach that helps clients understand what is happening beneath surface-level difficulties and begin to shift the patterns that keep those difficulties in place.

The aim is to make change simple and practical, so it carries into everyday life, relationships and learning.
